Welcome to our new book group! I'm excited to start it!
Below are some beginning questions for discussion after you've read the Acknowledgements and Introduction. Next week I"ll pose questions about chapter one. I imagine that some chapters will need more time than others, depending on the subject matter and material in them.
1) Given what you've read so far, how do you feel about reading this book, what do you hope to get from reading it and participating in this book group?
2) This book is written by a survivor and a supporter, how do you think this will help you in reading this book? Are their any drawbacks from having these two perspectives?
3)As you look over the structure of the book, you'll see it presents information, there are comments from both Karen and Tracy, there are exercises, and educational information. Any thoughts about this structure?
